Patterson Joseph-the new Doctor?

Bookies are giving odds of 3/1 on 44 year old Patterson Joseph.

Of course, he has already appeared in 2 episodes back in 2005. He has good Sci Fi pedigree having appeared in Hyperdrive as Space Marshall Clarke and as Giroux in Aeon Flux.

He is perhaps best as Mark's boss in Peep Show having appeared in 11 episodes between 2003 and 2008.
