Numbered, an SF thriller by first-time screenwriter Neil McGowan, earned $7,000 for first place at the 13th annual Slamdance Screenplay Competition, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The winners were announced last week at a reception at the Writers Guild of America West.
The other winners, ranked from second to 10th place, were Goodman's Garden, Douglas Miller; Want and Curiosity, Eric Weller; Human Resources, Marissa Jo Cerar; Lucas Donovan, Keisha Poiro; Moonbeam Fisherman, John Dummer; Mendelssohn, Joseph Yuan and Jeanette Manning; Hair Today, Dennis Douda; Czechoslovakia, Alvin Easter; and Truckers vs. Bikers, Aaron Grunland and Sean Huet.
