Knight Rider is back but it's still black
If you have fond memories of the original Knight Rider then you are likely to love this remake that is full of retro cheesiness. Prepare to rev up your engines as the popular 80s TV show, Knight Rider aired in the US this week, with a total overhaul and a brand new K.I.T.T car.
Rather than the classic Pontiac the new car is a Ford GT500KR. The new model K.I.T.T. is equipped with an "AI" (artificial intelligence) that is capable of hacking almost any system.
Its weapons systems match that of a jet fighter, and its body is capable of actually transforming into other vehicles and using sophisticated holographic imagery to elude villains.

The original 1980s series featured David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight. In the new remake the Hoff has been replaced by his estranged son, Mike Traceur, played by Justin Bruening. In the first episode the Hoff is expected to make a cameo appearance as Michael Knight.

Val Kilmer is the new sexy voice of K.I.T.T replacing William Daniel. Mike Traceur will take the hot seat with a core mission of saving damsels in distress and preening bad guys into submission.
Chances are you'll love this remake of the classic television Knight Rider. UK broadcasting details will be announced soon.
