Spider-Man 4 VIP Experience Up For Auction

August 28, 2008 12:00 AM

Sony Pictures is auctioning off a Spider-Man 4 VIP experience on eBay to raise money for cancer research.

The Spider-Man 4 package includes a visit to the set, a one-hour meet and greet with the cast, a walk-on role in the film, a trip to the New York premiere and designer outfits to wear on the red carpet. The proceeds from the auction will go to benefit Stand Up to Cancer, a program of the Entertainment Industry Foundation charity that raises money to support cancer research and prevention.

The bidding started at $5,000 and will close on Sept. 5 at 7:00 p.m. PT.

Spider-Man 4 is still in the early stages of pre-production, but Sony is aiming for a release in 2011.
