Boxleitner Joining Heroes?

TV Guide Online's Michael Ausiello reported that Babylon 5 star Bruce Boxleitner has won a top-secret recurring role on NBC's Heroes, a role that was originally going to be modeled after Sen. John McCain.
The character has since been reconceived, and Boxleitner will reportedly share the screen with a female series regular. Heroes returns in the fall. (NBC is owned by NBC Universal, which also owns SCIFI.COM.)

Nikki Finke's Deadline Hollywood Web site reported that Marvel Studios and Iron Man director Jon Favreau have reached a deal for him to helm the sequel, due out in 2010.

Latino Review reported a rumor that Sony may be considering Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous) or Michael Angarano (Forbidden Kingdom) to take over the title role in future Spider-Man films if Tobey Maguire isn't available.
